Spring Myers, Co-founder

Driven by her entrepreneurial instinct and a vision for branded merchandise promotions, Spring co-founded Upswing Marketing with Jeffrey Myers in 2003. From 1995 until 2003, she was one of the top sales reps at Market 1, a high-growth promotional products company, where she developed sales in Bay Area high tech markets. Spring became one of Market 1’s million dollar club members, a distinction she maintained throughout her 8 years at that company. Previously, she worked as a branch manager for the recruiting firm Remedy, establishing and managing offices in Fremont and San Jose and helping that company grow its client base in local strategic markets. Spring began her sales career with retail giant Carter Hawley Hale, where she focused on fashions and consumer promotions for the company’s Broadway and Emporium retail chains. Spring is a graduate of California’s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

Jeffrey Myers, Co-founder

In 2003, Jeffrey saw how tough market economics was driving business back to practical, proven brand marketing concepts. He knew the time was ripe to launch a new kind of promotional merchandise company, so he co-founded Upswing Marketing with Spring Myers. Previously, Jeffrey managed Bryson Technologies, a systems integration company he founded to provide consulting services and computing systems for software and hardware engineering. Under his leadership, Bryson became a leading developer of document imaging software. Jeffrey sold the hardware side of his business and grew the software consulting practice into a multi-million dollar business, providing contract and permanent developers to major communications systems companies. His career began in computer systems sales, with DataProducts Inc., selling mainframe computer peripherals. Jeffrey earned a B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of Southern California. Prior to that, his tour of duty with the U.S. Army as a communications non-commissioned Officer earned him an Army Achievement Medal.
